Howard-Tilton Memorial Library
The Howard-Tilton Memorial Library (HTML), located on the campus of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana is one of VR Management Group's flagship Building Construction Management projects. The building sustained major flood damage to its basement as a result of Hurricane Katrina 2005. The University developed a Hazard Mitigation Program in consultation with FEMA to construct two additional floors on the existing library.
With our expertise in Disaster Management, VR Management Group was hired by the University on February 26 ,2010 to oversee the Design and Construction of the project. Additionally, VRM will be supporting the University in the FEMA Public Assistance process.

Navigating the FEMA Public Assistance process can be a daunting task for any agency. With the help of VRM this task can be made efficient and concise. VRM will track all project documents by utilizing ISO 9000, auditing software, Primavera Contract Manager System along with other internal cost management programs.
Throughout the development of the project our clients can be assured that VRM is staying ahead of the review and approval process by FEMA and other agencies with jurisdiction. Architects and Engineers are able to cross reference documents and data pertaining to the scope of approved work.
